The Data Clerk will provide administrative and data management support to the Project Director by ensuring accurate data entry, organization, and maintenance of project records. This role will help streamline project operations and enable the Project Director to focus on higher-level management responsibilities. This role is critical to streamlining project operations and enabling the Project Director to focus on strategic management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

· Accurately input new information into project databases and systems.

· Regularly update and maintain existing records to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

· Organize and manage digital and physical files related to project activities, staff, and compliance documentation.

· Assist in preparing data reports, summaries, and presentations as requested by the Project Director.

· Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing with source documents and correcting discrepancies.

· Support the MCD/DHAPP team in developing the project quarterly and annual report, as well as the annual workplan and any project deliverables. This is not limited to providing data inputs but also in the writing itself. This role is critical to streamlining project operations and enabling the Project Director to focus on strategic management responsibilities.

· Support the team in identifying evidence-based success stories. Identifying and documenting evidence-based success stories.

· Support the implementation of the project’s research and learning agenda

· Support the Project Director in training and capacity building of health workers. Training and capacity building?

· Support the Project Director with administrative tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, and meeting coordination as needed.

· Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection protocols at all times.

· Assist with data cleanup, backup, and security activities to ensure information is preserved and protected.

· Communicate with project staff to clarify data requirements and resolve issues related to data entry or documentation.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Director or Senior Program Manager that fall within the consultant’s qualifications.

Deliverables

· Up-to-date and accurate project databases and records.

· Timely and error-free data entry and reporting.

· Organized digital and physical filing systems.

· Regular status updates to the Project Director on data management activities.

Job requirements

Qualifications

· Associate degree (Bacc+2) or higher

· Certificate or proof of capacity in data management

· At least three years of proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with database management tools.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

· Strong communication and time-management skills.

· Proficiency in French is required, English fluency is a plus

· Experience in the health sector is a plus, and health information system experience is highly valued

Duration and Hours

· Part-time, hours to be determined based on project needs and availability.
